Description:The Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) is a private nonprofit organization committed to promoting excellence in international medical education. ECFMG and its Foundation for Advancement of International Medical Education and Research (FAIMER), offer a variety of programs and services for international physicians and the international medical community.

Through its program of certification, ECFMG evaluates the qualifications of graduates of international medical schools who seek entry into residency or fellowship programs in the United States that are accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). International medical graduates who wish to enter such programs must be certified by ECFMG. The current requirements for ECFMG Certification include passing the Step 1 and 2 examinations of the three-step United States Medical Licensing Examination® (USMLE®).
Duties:We are seeking an Advisor Assistant to work in our Electronic Residency Application Services (ERAS) department at the corporate office located in Philadelphia, PA. This position is responsible for performing quality review of applications and supporting documents for ERAS residency and fellowship applicants.

The responsibilities and duties of this position include quality control of 2100 ERAS & EFDO students/graduates application within the specified workgroup; perform a visual inspection of all documentation required for the applicant’s application. Identifies and label unique applicant cases, defines resolutions, and seeks approval by manager of document actions. The Advisor Assistant will ensure timely processing of documents to the applicant’s ERAS & EFDO application record and target a 100% accuracy rate in quality assurance by assisting with the overall departmental quality control process. The Advisor Assistant will also assist with the on-going development of ERAS procedures by providing input for operational enhancements and perform other duties as assigned by the ERAS Manager.
Qualifications:2 years of clerical experience in a professional office setting is required. Experience in a high production setting performing quality assurance is preferred. Some college education is preferred.

Candidates must be able to work with high attention to detail on multiple tasks in an efficient manner. Candidates must also be adept at handling various computer programs.
