| Description: | In accordance with ECFMG policies and procedures, reviews and evaluates a large volume of final medical diplomas, graduation documents, transfer credit transcripts, final medical school transcripts, name verification documents and other related documents for both exam registration and ECFMG Certification purposes. Also reviews and performs appropriate processing and quality assurance for large numbers of applications for USMLE Step 1, Step 2CK and Step 2 CS. Processes all available USMLE scores and produces USMLE transcripts for applicants and institutions. Works with many computer applications and hardcopy/scanned documents in all areas of work. Communicates with applicants and medical schools regarding routine matters via correspondence. |
| Duties: | I. Process USMLE Step 1, Step 2CK, and Step 2CS Applications
II. Verify Medical Education Credentials
III. Processes and Coordinates Scores and Transcripts
IV. Review and Evaluate EPEx (Eligibility Period Extension)
V. Re-Verify Student Status Forms
VI. Re-send Verification Requests
VII. Review and Assign of USMLE ID Numbers
VIII. Reviews and Assesses Changes to Applicant Records

| Qualifications: | EXPERIENCE
Four years professional experience in service institution, preferably in college/university or other educational/research institution, involving processing of large volumes of educational credentials or similar documents.
EDUCATION & CERTIFICATION
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
SKILLS/ABILITIES
Very good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. PC proficient (must be adept at handling various computer programs), detail-oriented. Must be well organized and able to work on multiple tasks and to process large numbers of documents on an ongoing basis.
